Dane Anderson is an interdisciplinary artist, craftsman, and builder specializing in woodworking. He has worked on and collaborated with a variety of clients in the music festival arena as well as private commissions for furniture and sculpture. Dane focuses on curating and developing the space for people to connect and interact within. Since graduating from SDSU in 2021 he has been doing work with stage production, sculpture/installation art, and brand activations for the past 4 years. Many of the opportunities in the event industry came out of working with festivals and especially producing his own with friends held in the Mojave desert. Dane Anderson is one of the founders and creative director of Yoon Fest which is a smaller house music and art festival in the desert. Further opportunities arose for contributing and showcasing his art at other festivals including Same Same But Different, Wonderfront, Desert Hearts, Lighting in a Bottle, and many more smaller renegade music events. Dane says, “It’s always a pleasure to see my creative efforts come to life and be enjoyed by a wide range of people.”
There have been direct contributions made in to designing & building brand activations for brands like Zico coconut water, Guaki Yerba Mate, Liquid death, De La Calle, Jibby Coffee, and more. Many of the relationships have been developed through displays of quality creative builds and word of mouth. Many of these connections have become reoccurring contracts while some have been one off sponsored builds.
Some of the larger builds of this past year have been permanent installations at music venues and restaurants such as Wicked West in San Diego and Bangbang in Tempe AZ.
