It was a pleasure to work with Zico at Same Same but Different this past year. This brand provided a sponsorship to the festival and wanted a unique interactive activation to showcase their product and create memorable experiences on the beach for attendees. The initial concept presented was to have a floating island out in the lake where people could receive free coconut water beverages. The idea evolved over conversations with Liv who acted as the point of contact with the brand and became larger than originally planned. A raft made of 18 55 gallon barrels and 12x12 deck platform acted as the base for an aluminum truss structure which suspended a 3 ft diameter disco ball. A hexagonal bar table in the center was where the brand reps distributed free product and played music. Two pneumatic water cannons were mounted on either side for further interactive features of the build.
